It's Pittsburgh And Green Bay At The Jerrydome

The participants in Super Bowl XLV in Arlington have been determined, and hallelujah, one of then won't be the Arlington Cowchips to Jerry Jones' disgust.

It won't be the Houston Texans either, to my disgust.

It will be the AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers (to Kat Rose and Polar's disgust) and the NFC champion Green Bay Packers (to 'errbody' in Chicago's disgust) playing in Cowboys Stadium on February 6.

The best part is Jerry Jones will be hatin' from his Jerrydome luxury box as the Steelers seek to claim their seventh Super Bowl ring.   The Packers will be seeking to take the Lombardi trophy back to Wisconsin.

Mike Tomlin will be seeking to make more NFL and Black history as he begins the quest to become the first African-American NFL coach to win it twice.

He's already the youngest coach to win a Super Bowl and the second African-American NFL head coach to do so.  Tomlin is also one of the few coaches to have taken two teams to the Super Bowl before his 40th birthday.

And has anyone noticed how much he resembles actor Omar Epps?

Super Bowl Week starts January 30 with the Pro Bowl in Hawaii.   As for who I'm picking to win it?   I'll put that post up closer to Super Bowl weekend..
